Year-Round Spanish Programs for Foreigners

Description

The Center for International Education of La Salle University in Mexico City offers year-round Spanish language classes at beginning, intermediate and advanced levels. Admission is open to anyone 16 or older and an oral and written placement exam is given to all new students to indicate their level of proficiency. Our courses provide a balance of oral and written expression and listening and reading comprehension with special emphasis on communicative skills. All classes are conducted in Spanish.

Characteristics of the Program

• Class size ranges from 3 to 8 students for more personalized attention
• Use of campus facilities
• Credits are transferable
• Private classes either on or off campus

Materials

We use the books published by the Centro de Enseñanza Para Extranjeros (CEPE) of the National University of Mexico (UNAM): "Estoy Listo" levels 1, 2 and 3 and "Pido la Palabra" levels 3, 4 and 5. Upon completion of the last level, the participant will be awarded the Diploma of LaSalle University.

Our classes are attended by professionals, diplomats, businessmen, housewives, professors, students, etc. of all different nationalities.

Costs per module

Intensive: US$440 and semi-intensive: US$280 These prices include the book, the participant's ID, the placement exam and the registration fee. Payments are made on registration day and the participant must bring a picture of himself to leave at the registrars. NO CREDIT CARDS OR PERSONAL CHECKS ARE ACCEPTED.
